The De Pere Police Department and De Pere Fire Rescue, like all area departments, are dispatched from the Brown County Public Safety Communications Dept.

When listening to calls from multiple departments, you can tell the responding municipality by paying attention to the vehicle codes. All codes in the 100 range are De Pere vehicles. Further, we have two fire stations in the city; the second digit of the code indicates which of these two stations the vehicle came from. For example, Engine 111 is from De Pere Station #1, on the east side of the Fox River, downtown. Engine 121 is from De Pere Station #2, on the west side of the Fox River, at the corner of Grant St and Ninth St.
